Active Access IAM- Onboarding - Registering for a New User Account
Introduction
This article applies to new users who wish to onboard for an Active Access account and whose organization (company) is already onboarded.
Details
1. Navigate to the Active Access login page
2. Click on the New User? Register Here link
3. Search for your organization. You can search for your organization by:
a. Enter your organization name and click the search button

b. Select the Vendor Code option from the search by drop down, then select the package you are registering for from the Select top level package drop down. Enter the vendor code and click the search button
4. Select the radio button next to the desired organization, then click the Next button. Note: if your organization has divisions under it, you will be presented with a list of divisions that you can also select from if you desire to register in a division.
If you do not see your organization in the search results, you can click on the Edit search icon to search again, or you can click the Create Organization button to follow the new organization onboarding workflow.
5. Enter your login and personal information and click the Next button. Note that user accounts are assigned to individuals and are not to be shared among multiple individuals and cannot be generic.
- User ID - this will be your login user ID. You can select any user ID that you wish to use, but it must be unique. Click the "check availability" link to ensure your desired User ID is not in use.
- Password - your password will need to contain at least 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number. You may use special characters as desired (, ? < > ! @ # $ % ^ & * - _ / | \ [ ] + = : ; ' ") Your password must contain at least 8 characters and no more than 20 characters.
- First Name - Your first name. Do not use a generic or department name
- Last Name - Your family or surname. Do not use a generic or department name
- Address, City, State/Province/Prefecture, Country and Postal Code - Your physical work location
- Email - Your email. Please use your direct email and not a generic or departmental email address
- Phone number - Your contact phone number including area code and/or country code
6. Select the Service Package(s) desired by checking the boxes to the right of the Service Package name, then click the Next button. The filter option, accessible by clicking the filter icon, can be used to narrow down the list of possible Service Packages by category or name. Note: Service packages that require vendor codes will display a gear icon over the package icon; to register for these packages you will need to have a valid vendor code.
7. You may be prompted to accept terms and conditions, enter a request reason or provide additional details. Follow the prompts to enter the required information then click the Next button
8. Review your registration request for accuracy, then click the Submit button to complete the registration. You will see a confirmation popup when registration is complete, then you will be redirected to the login page.
Once your registration is submitted you will receive an email confirmation. Your security administrator(s) will be notified that a new user registration request has been submitted. Your administrator(s) must approve your registration request before you will be able to log in. You will be notified by email when your administrator has approved your registration request.
