Introduction

This impacts all users who log in directly to the OpenText (formerly Covisint) Automotive Supplier Portal. We are updating our password policy on February 20, 2026, to strengthen the security of our Core Secure Access Automotive Supplier Portal.

Key Changes

• Minimum password length will increase from 8 to 15 characters.
• Passwords must include at least three of the following character types:
  uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Passwords will expire every 6 months.
• Users whose passwords do not meet the new requirements will be prompted to create a new password on their first login after the new policy is applied on February 20.

How to Prepare

• Ensure your password meets the new requirements before February 20.

To change your password:

1. Log in to Core Secure Access.
2. Go to the Profile menu.
3. Select the Password tab.
4. Enter your current password and a new password that meets the updated requirements, then select Save.

• Verify that your email address and phone number are accurate on the Account Info tab in the Profile menu.
• Verify that your security question and answer on the Security tab, as this information is required to use the self‑service password reset feature.
