Core Secure Access - Profile - Logging in to Core Secure Access, Recovering a User Name and Resetting a Password

This article will describe the procedure for logging in, recovering a username, and resetting a password.
Details
Logging In to Core Collaboration Access
- Navigate to the login URL
- Enter the user ID in the User Name box
- Enter the password in the Password box
- Click the Continue button
Recover Forgotten User Name
- Navigate to the login URL
- Click the "Forgot your user name" link
- Enter your email address in the email address field
- Click the Continue button
- An email containing the user name will be sent to the email address entered if there is a valid user ID linked to it
Resetting a Forgotten Password
- Navigate to the login URL
- Click on the "Forgot your password" link
- Enter your user name, then click the Continue button
- Your security question will display. Enter the answer, then click the Continue button. If you do not know the answer to your security question, please get in touch with your administrator. Please note that the OpenText helpdesk cannot reset a password.
- A new, 8-character temporary password will be autogenerated. The first 4 characters will display on the screen. Note them as they will be needed for login. The second half of the password will be sent to the email address in your profile.
- Click the Sign In button. Enter your username in the username field. Enter the temporary password in the password field. Click Continue.
- Enter the temporary password in the Old Password field. Enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields. Click the Update button. Please note that your new password must conform to the password rules.
Password Rules
- The password must contain 3 of the following character types: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters
- The password length must be between 15 -99 characters
- The password cannot be the same as the last 7 passwords
